I would like to welcome our student, staff and family members as we begin the 2009/2010 school year. We look forward to working together as we build upon the programs, events and traditions of Vaughan Willard Public School. I know that you share our enthusiasm for providing a safe and productive learning environment where students can excel academically and contribute as responsible members of this community.

Our common goal is to provide learning experiences that promote academic excellence, personal development and citizenship. Our desire is for each student to grasp these opportunities and strive for their best results in the year ahead. Service and leadership will be a focus this year as we encourage our students to contribute their time and talents to improve our immediate and wider community. I am confident that we will successfully meet these goals with good communication, a sound program and strong partnerships between home and school. I know that the coming year will bring many significant accomplishments because of our collective commitment to excellence.
